This rating will be given to courses that meet all WAI Priority 1 guidelines for Accessibility.

A1.2 - Alternatives to Color
||It is important that color-blind users, as well as other users with visual disabilities that affect the ability to discern colors, are able to use your course effectively. Color should never be the only way to convey important information in your web site.
||The following must be included for this standard to be complete.
- If color conveys important information on your site, use alternative markers, such as an asterisk (*) to convey the same information. References to such elements should also include a mention of the alternative marker.
All benchmarks and criteria must be met for an E rating.
No Weights are assigned for A standards.
If a course receives an L rating for this standard, additional information will need to be provided for the course to be accessible. To modify a course to receive an E rating, all color used on your site that conveys critical information must have alternative markers. Use the Benchmarks for this standard to guide improvement.
